Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, This people says, “The time has not come, even the time for the house of the LORD to be rebuilt.”’”

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’ ”
