Не хочу же оставить вас, братия, в неведении об умерших, дабы вы не скорбели, как прочие, не имеющие надежды.
The Return of the Lord But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
Those Who Died in Christ But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.
The Coming of the Lord But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
Believers Who Have Died Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
The Hope of the Resurrection And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
The Return of the Lord But we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are fallen asleep, to the end that ye be not grieved even as also the rest who have no hope.
