И когда я приходил к вам, братия, приходил возвещать вам свидетельство Божие не в превосходстве слова или мудрости,
Paul's Message, the Spirit's Power And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
Paul’s Reliance upon the Spirit And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
Proclaiming Christ Crucified And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom.
And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.
Christ Crucified And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
Paul’s Message of Wisdom When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan.
Paul's Message, the Spirit's Power And *I*, when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God.
